CYCLE OF RITUALS · IN DEVELOPMENT
Old rituals. New sonic worlds.
Ongoing Cycle of Rituals explores Balkan traditions through contemporary instrumental writing, electronics, and spatial sound. The first work, Dodola: Ritual for Calling the Rain, was created during the MIXTE Academy in collaboration with Ensemble Proxima Centauri. Two further works will follow in 2027, expanding the project into a three-part cycle.
Alongside the ensemble work, I am developing Dodola as an interdisciplinary performance for flute, percussion, a dancer and electronics, with the audience surrounding the performers.
